Big TV!

Big TV’s team is comprised of award-winning British directors Andy Delaney and Monty Whitebloom. The duo has become know for their groundbreaking music videos and commercial campaigns. Their work might be described as having a contemplative serenity – including a visual and musical distinctness - while at the same time maintaining a playful edginess that keeps them at the forefront of the genres they work in. Delaney and Whitebloom met at Goldsmith’s college in London in the 1980’s. Upon graduation they began their professional partnership by working in the UK rave scene where they created audio/ visual displays at clubs around the country. Through their work with raves, they landed their first video for Beloved, after which they went full- time into music videos.

Big TV has directed videos for Maroon 5, Jesse McCartney, KT Tunstall, Lauryn Hill, Seal, Duran Duran, Spice Girls, All Saints, Dido, Leftfield, George Michael and Mary J Blige, David Gray, Macy Gray, and Usher to name a few. They have also earned two Grammy’s and six MTV awards, including Video of the Year in 2000 for Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing).”

In 1996 they began directing commercials for major brands such as Nike, Levis, Kodak, Eurostar, Mercedes, Volvo, Vodafone, Subaru, LeisurePlanet.com, Ford, GM, Halifax and Constellation Energy. Their distinctive visual style and approach to directing gives their commercial work a sublime quality that sets them apart from their contempo- raries.

They are currently in development with New Line Cinema to make their first feature film, The Ballad of Paul Finley, Accountant.

Big TV are based in the UK, although they travel to remote regions of the globe direct- ing.
